Two Cases of Idiopathic Calcinosis of the Scrotum

Abstract
Idiopathic calcinosis of the scrotum is a rare cutaneous disorder consisted of multiple asymptomatic nodules of the scrotum without any underlying disease.
We experienced two cases of idiopathic calcinosis of the scrotum.
The skin lesions of numerous, various sized, light yellowish colored, and hard nodules were noted on the scrotum.
Histopathologic findings showed acanthosis or atrophy in epidermis and deposition of amorphous basophilic masses and foreign body reaction in dermis. The masses were confirmed as calcium deposition on Von Kossa stained section.
Most of nodules were removed by surgical resection.
